During the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest 2023 official keynote, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida revealed the next FFXIV expansion is Dawntrail. This will be released when the 7.0 update for the game appears. A new trailer appeared, teasing the new locations. We’ll see it in Summer 2024. It was announced at a February 2021 event. It launched the same year it was announced, showing up in December 2021 after being delayed out of November 2021. Spoilers aside, when we played it, it ended up offering a sense of closure for certain storylines. Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the expansion is in development for a Summer 2024 release. The 2023 Fan Festival will be held in Las Vegas between July 28-29, 2023.
