UTV Ignition is re-releasing El Shaddai in Japan. The reprint, titled El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron Encore Edition, is slated for release on May 17.
El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron's opening credits where Enoch side-scrolls through a hundred years of time sets the tone for the game. The highlight of Ignition Japan's first and sadly final game is its striking scenes.
"A lot of people tell me Lucifel reminds them of me," Takeyasu added. "I think some of my personality may have rubbed off on him. That's another reason I had an idea of what Lucifel would look like right away."
