Atlus announced that a collaboration between Seven Knights Idle Adventure and Persona 3 Reload started on September 9, 2024 and will run until September 23, 2024. During the event, you’ll be able to obtain Yuki Makoto (the protagonist), Takeba Yukari, Aigis, and Kirijo Mitsuru.

While the Persona 3 Reload event is live in Seven Knights Idle Adventure, you can obtain a special login bonus award. As well, there is a new Challenge Pass available for you to try and get either Yukari or Mitsuru. Koromaru is also in the crossover as a pet, though you’ll need to clear the Tartaros-themed collaboration dungeon in order to get him as an award. Finally, a new Legend Costume for Aigis will appear in the gacha.

All of the Persona 3 Reload characters will have their default Personas with them. However, they’re wearing modified versions of their usual uniforms. The Challenge Pass for Yukari will start from September 9, 2024 and the one for Mitsuru will be from September 16, 2024. The Legend Costume gacha for Aigis will start from September 16, 2024 as well. It features her in her Gekkoukan High School uniform.

Seven Knights Idle Adventure is a spin-off of Netmarble’s other game, SevenKnights, but an idle game. You can get rewards from battles and such even when you’re not actively in the game. As an idle game, all phones should be able to handle it and it’s easy to pick up and play. It focuses a lot more on collecting and raising the heroes from SevenKnights.

Persona 3 Reload is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Seven Knights Idle Adventure is on mobile devices and the Persona 3 Reload crossover event will run until September 23, 2024.

HoYoVerse has been helping us better understand the personality of Feixiao, the next new Honkai: Star Rail character, via a series of trailers. The latest one shows what happens when she cuts loose and gets drunk, following meeting with Jing Yuan. The official social media account commentary even noted, "From this day forward, all stores on the Luofu will temporarily cease the sale of alcoholic beverages."

The video begins with Feixiao running out of something she’s drinking. However, her ear twitches as she hears someone nearby. This is Jing Yuan, who tosses a glass of liquor her way when she approaches. However, she isn’t satisfied with one glass and steals the rest of the alcohol. When he attempts to take what remains from her when she’s sleeping, she gets so drunk that she doesn’t recognize him or what’s around her and starts to fight.

This is the second Honkai: Star Rail trailer to feature both Feixiao and Jing Yuan. The first appeared earlier in September 2024. That was a MiHoYo Anime production that compared what the start of the day looks like for both generals. It was set during the Wardance arc of the story, so the two were both preparing to meet with each other and Huaiyan.

As a reminder, this is the first of two new 5-star characters to debut in Honkai: Star Rail. She’s a Hunt character who deals Wind elemental damage. The other is Lingsha, a Fire Abundance unit. While both aren’t playable just yet, they did each appear during the first part of the Wardance storyline in 2.4.

Honkai: Star Rail is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Feixiao banner begins on September 10, 2024. That is also the day the 2.5 update for the game appears.

Square Enix will run a Final Fantasy Record Keeper 10th Anniversary Cafe in Japan. The company will temporarily offer menu and merchandise based on the mobile game and its characters at Artnia starting in late September 2024, then running until early November 2024.

The merchandise lineup will feature Tetsuya Nomura's illustrations and pixel sprites of all mainline series protagonists from the first game in the series up until Final Fantasy XVI. Prices will range from 594 yen (~$4.15) for a random character's acrylic badge to 3,850 yen (~$26.95) for a tote bag decorated with pixel sprites of all key characters. Visitors can also receive a bonus coaster mat for every 3,000 yen spent on either the cafe menu or store merchandise.

Most of the menu will be available for the whole event duration, but Square Enix will change a few of them in the middle. The Chaos Afternoon Tea set that depicts Chaos and Golbez's dessert servings will only be available until October 16, 2024. Square Enix will afterward replace it with the Record Keeper Afternoon Tea set for the remainder of the event.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper appeared first in Japan in September 2014. While Square Enix also launched a global version of the mobile game in March 2015, it closed the latter in September 2022. The original Japanese release remained intact as it reached its tenth anniversary in September 2024.

The Final Fantasy Record Keeper 10th Anniversary Cafe will be available at Artnia Square Enix in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, from September 21, 2024, until November 12, 2024.

HoYoVerse shared a new Honkai: Star Rail MiHoYo Anime short that shows how both Feixiao and Jing Yuan start their day. Most of it involves a split-screen perspective directly comparing their morning, before shifting to focus more on her.

The Honkai: Star Rail anime short is set during the Wardance event on the Xianzhou Luofu. Things begin with both characters’ alarms going off at 7am. From there, we see both have a different approach to getting started. Jing Yuan’s day is more leisurely, with him mainly getting going at 7am, while Feixiao is more active and exercising. Throughout the segment, there are additional clips showing how things align, with both getting a notification about a 10am meeting with Huaiyan and additional glimpses at the clock showing what happens at 8:30am.

Feixiao is the first new 5-star debuting in the 2.5 update. She’s a Hunt character, which means her attacks focus on a single opponent. She’s also a Wind element type unit.

To commemorate Natlan appearing in Genshin Impact, Animate will hold an event from September 14, 2024. You’ll be able to get merchandise of the new Genshin Impact characters Kinich, Mualani, and Kachina, that were introduced in Natlan, as well as enjoy some drinks at the Gratte cafe.

The Natlan Release Commemoration Animate Fair will take place in Animate stores all around Japan from September 14 to October 27, 2024. During this time, you’ll be able to get a little card of one of the above characters if you purchase Genshin Impact goods and your transaction is over 2200 JPY. There will also be a Gratte collaboration at stores with a Gratte. There aren’t any special menus outside of cookies and lattes depicting Kinich, Mualani, or Kachina.

The merchandise uses how they look in a key visual of the three characters travelling through Natlan. There are also items that use their splash art. You can get a random acrylic coaster if you order at least one item from the Gratte menu. Other pieces of merchandise (and their prices) are:

• Acrylic stand: 2200 JPY
• Badge: 590 JPY each
• Badge (chibi): 495 JPY
• Clear folder: 880 JPY

Life-sized stands of the characters will appear in certain Animate stories. Mualani will be in Sapporo and Nagoya, Kinich will be in Fukuoka Parco and Ikebukuro, and Kachina will be at Sendai and Nihonbashi.

Good Smile Company announced that like iconic Blue Archive NPC Arona, Plana will join the Nendoroid figure line. It will cost ￥6,700 when it shows up in Japan in February 2024. When the worldwide release comes in Q3 2025, it will cost $40.99.

Like Arona, Plana is a Shittim AI character in Blue Archive. She also wears a white bow in her hair and a school uniform, only one with a jacket over it, which is recreated for the figure. Her halo is red, whereas Arona’s is blue, and her braid is on the opposite site. The Nendoroid comes with three face plates. One features a neutral expression, another has dizzy, spiral eyes and the third features her smiling and blushing. She also comes with a rifle and a carton of strawberry milk.

There’s also a promotion tied to Good Smile Company official store sales. People who buy it from there get an additional base. It features her name and iconography from the game.

Here’s how the Plana Nendoroid looks, as well as the special base that comes if you order the Blue Archive figure directly through Good Smile Company.

The Blue Archive Plana Nendoroid will appear in Japan in February 2025 and worldwide in Q3 2025. Pre-orders are open until October 16, 2024. When Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis first anniversary events, that also included a The Cetra's Story: Birth of the Destroyer based on the race introduced in the original FFVII. Now ahead of its debut on September 6, 2024, a trailer teased the plot of the story, showed a new version of Bahamut coming to the Final Fantasy universe, and offered another look at the new Bahamut Garb equipment for Cloud. 

This teaser is exceptionally short. It primarily is designed to show which FFVII Ever Crisis characters will be included in the The Cetra's Story: Birth of the Destroyer event quests and tease the role of Bahamut as both an enemy and ally. Things begin with Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, Cait Sith, and Yuffie in a field. (Cid is not present.) Vincent hints at the group being in even more trouble after a fight. It is then that a white version of Bahamut, a classic Final Fantasy summon, appears in the sky. We then see a dragon on the ground facing that version of Bahamut. An unknown figure suggests that this is a losing battle. It is then that another teaser for the upcoming Bahamut Garb for Cloud appears in a piece of official art.

The Bahamut Garb Gear is part of a new Garbs of the Protectors equipment series in FFVII Ever Crisis. It is currently unknown which other characters will also get similar gear.

LocalThunk and PlayStack announced that when the Android and iOS mobile Balatro ports arrive on September 26, 2024, they will also be accompanied by an Apple Arcade release of the game. Apple Arcade is $6.99 per month, while the standalone version of the game will cost $9.99 on the App Store and Google Play.

As a reminder, Balatro is a roguelike deckbuilder based on Poker. You pick up playing cards for your deck, acquire Jokers that have different scoring and game-influencing effects, and get things like planetary and tarot cards to increase the values of certain hands or affect your game. Your goal is to continually beat more challenging tasks, some with restrictions, by meeting the scoring goals. Campaign and challenge modes are available, and post-launch updates added things like new cosmetics inspired by games like The Witcher.

Balatro first appeared on consoles and PCs in February 2024. It’s been consistently updated, and physical versions were announced. It also appeared in other games, with an upcoming crossover bringing Balatro into Dave the Diver in October 2024.

The Balatro Android, Apple iOS, and Apple Arcade versions of the game will appear on September 26, 2024. It is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

A new “Keeping Up with Star Rail” video has appeared on the Honkai: Star Rail YouTube channel, with Feixiao the star of the show this time. Her healer and confidant Jiaoqiu is the one describing her kit this time.

It’s also available in Mandarin Chinese and Korean. Due to “recording arrangements,” the English channel has uploaded the video using the Japanese audio. There has been some speculation in the comments as to what issue may be going on behind the scenes, but there’s no concrete information on that from HoYoVerse.

Feixiao will be a 5-star Wind Hunt character who can deal follow-up attacks on enemies after an ally attacks them. Like Acheron, her Ultimate comes from stacks. In Feixiao’s case, she gains a Flying Aureus stack every two attacks allies launch on an enemy. Once she reaches six Flying Aureus points, she can use her Ultimate. Her Ultimate can reduce Toughness no matter the Weakness Type. It’ll launch six strikes on a single enemy before a final blow, and whether the enemy is Weakness Broken or not will affect which move she uses during those first six strikes.

Ahead of his playable debut, HoYoVerse has revealed some information on Moze, who’ll appear as a new character in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5. He'll be a 4-star Lightning Hunt character who fills the DPS niche on a team.

In terms of his kit, Moze can use his Skill to mark an enemy as Prey. When allies attack the Prey, Moze can deal additional Lightning DMG and consume a Charge. After consuming a certain amount of Charges, he can launch a follow-up attack. Once the number of Charges hit 0, it’ll dispel the Prey state. Finally, his Ultimate deals Lightning DMG and then launches his follow-up attack.

As for his character, Moze is a Shadow Guard for the Xianzhou Yaoqing and he’s briefly appeared in the 2.4 Trailblaze Continuance along with fellow Yaoqing characters Feixiao and Jiaoqiu. His job includes assassinations, intelligence gathering, and stealth operations. Because of that, he tends to remain quiet and on-guard. Remnants of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus raised him and Feixiao took him in after the organization fell. Though Feixiao gave Moze permission to try and assassinate her, he’s never succeeded.

HoYoVerse will be adding new 2.5 Honkai: Star Rail Version new stages, including a new Divergent Universe, Echo of War and Stagnant Shadows ones, all with new rewards. These will arrive as part of the latest update when it releases on September 10, 2024.

The new stages added to Honkai: Star Rail in Version 2.5 will include the Inner Beast’s Battlefield Echo of War, the Famished Worker Divergent Universe stage and two new Stagant Shadows: Shape of Mechwolf and Shape of Gloam. Inner Beast’s Battlefield will reward players with various new rewards, including the Auspice Silver Trace Material, the Ashblazing Grand Duke and Watchmaker Master of Dream Machinations Relics and the “What is Real?” and “Dreamville Adventure” Light Cones. The Stagnant Shadows will also unlock two new Character Ascension materials. Shape of Mechwolf will offer Nail of the Beast Coffin, and the Shape of Gloam will offer A Glass of the Besotted Era.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 will also feature a new Divergent Universe stage called Famished Worker, which will provide players with new Planar Ornaments as rewards. The first set is Lushaka the Sunken Seas, featuring the Lushaka’s Waterscape Planar Sphere and the Lushaka’s Twinlanes Link Rope. This set will increase the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 5% and provide the first party member in the lineup with a 12% ATK boost, as long as this is not the wearer themselves. The second set is The Wondrous BananAmusement Park, featuring the BananAmusement Park’s BananAxis Plaza Planar Sphere and BananAmusement’s Park Memetic Cables Link Rope. This set increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 16%.

These new stages are likely to feature enemies and boss encounters featured in the Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 story content. The update will also include banners for the new 5-star characters Feixiao and Lingsha, along with a new Casual Mode difficulty.

Dynamax Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go as part of the latest season. Select Pokemon will be able to participate in unique Max Battles from September 10-15, 2024.

Dynamax is the latest unique mechanic from the main games to make an appearance in Pokemon Go. These battles featuring gigantic Pokemon will appear on special stops throughout the game. Players can use a new item known as Max Particles to take part in Max Battles and unlock Max Moves. In addition, there will be a special research event focused on Dynamax, where players can earn max Particles and a Dynamax band for your trainer to wear.

The new mechanic will debut with a short event from September 10-15, 2024, where five Pokemon will appear in special Max Battles. These include the gen 1 starters – Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle – along with Skwovet and Wooloo. All five Pokemon and their evolutions can be Dynamaxed. It’s unclear if other Pokémon will be able to Dynamax, and it’s not clear if there will be further events around the mechanic after its closing date.

Pokemon GO Max Battles will also feature a new arrangement of the Dynamax battle theme taken from Pokémon Sword and Shield. This was made by Junichi Masuda, who has been producing music for the series since the first Pokémon games.

While Dynamax is a new feature to Pokemon GO, it previously appeared in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It allowed players to increase the size and strength of their Pokemon in certain battles, including Gym Battles. Some Pokemon had special Gigantamax forms that changed their appearance, although these forms don’t appear to be included in Pokemon GO just yet. It’s not the first of these kinds of mechanics to be added to the game, as Mega Evolutions from Pokemon X and Y have also appeared.

Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android devices, and the Dynamax event will run from September 10-15, 2024.

HoYoVerse shared another Zenless Zone Zero Jane Doe trailer designed to highlight the character’s background and personality, and like her first trailer, it focuses on how sexy, devious, and deadly she can be. 

The video begins with Jane Doe having captured an individual. She then accuses the person of being someone who lost “goods” for their “boss.” She has the individual tied up in a back room. She then both teases and threatens the captive, who we can’t see. The whole animation is filmed with us seeing things from that person’s perspective. She makes use of both her knives and the one attached to the tip of her tail. We also hear the individual say the person who stole the items seemed to know the route, even though it was a new one. As the interrogation happens, we also see a more stylized animation that shows Jane Doe in action, dealing with enemies.

This Zenless Zone Zero trailer makes the latest entry in a continuing series of videos for Jane Doe. Her first trailer involved her being picked up by a Public Safety officer after going undercover, then teasing her as she got changed in the back of the patrol car before heading out to finish the assignment. The following YouTube Short also appeared to highlight how she works behind the scenes as well.

Zenless Zone Zero is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The Jane Doe banner will be available starting on September 4, 2024.

Infinity Nikki almost has 15 million pre-registrations, with this news coming shortly after its appearances at major gaming events like Gamescom and PAX West 2024. A demo of the game will also be at Tokyo Game Show, which will take place from September 26 to 29, 2024.

During Gamescom, a new trailer for the game appeared. It focuses on the mysterious world of Miraland, including the cute mascot-like characters you can meet. You can watch the trailer here:

Aside from pre-registering for the game when it actually appears, you can sign up for the closed beta test if you’re interested. You will need an Infold Games account to sign up though. If you want to pre-register for the game, you can do so via Google Play and Apple App Store. 

Infinity Nikki is part of the Nikki franchise, which combines a dress-up game with a rich fantasy story. In this game, you get to explore an open world and fight monsters, as well as collect materials to make your outfits. You can also take pictures of the environment or characters you meet. Infinity Nikki is in development for the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. As of the time of writing, there are a little over 14,541,000 pre-registrations and you can keep track of that number (and the milestones) via the official website.

The trailer shows a young Feixiao fleeing from borisin before she meets a mysterious foxian archer who may or may not be Yukong. She learns to fight from her and helps to protect the people of the Xianzhou Alliance from the Abundance Abominations. As a result of her exploits on the battlefield, as well as her singleminded focus in slaying the Abominations, she became the Merlin’s Claw. The trailer also teases some of Feixiao’s hidden power, which may have to do with her heritage.

Feixiao is an upcoming 5-star Wind Hunt character in Honkai: Star Rail. She had appeared in lore mentions on the Xianzhou prior to her official appearance in the Version 2.4 Trailblaze Continuance, where we get to see her prowess in battle and in politics. She’ll be in the first phase of Version 2.5 as a playable character. 5-star characters Black Swan, Kafka, and Robin will be re-running alongside her.
